For the most part, vendors sell items at the same price. It is part of the deal when they agree to carry a company's products. They do it to keep parts aplenty, keep a healthy competition (based on service and not just price), and to keep the industry thriving. Economy isn't the only factor here. Just thought I'd throw that out.
